The project "Diamo i numeri!" ("Numberd by numbers") - funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF Agora) - came about as a result of close collaboration between Professor Antonietta Mira, the scientific head of the project (Professor of Statistics at the University of Italian Switzerland and the University of Insubria), and L'ideatorio (Janos Cont and Fabio Meliciani, curators and designers of the exhibition), which oversaw the set-up and organization with the advice of the Mathematical Society of Ticino (SMASI) and the support of several other local entities.
The material collected in this site is the result of the collaboration
of several people: the staff of L'ideatorio in collaboration with Antonietta Mira and Federica Bianchi of the Faculty of Economic Sciences
at USI, later the material was enriched thanks to the collaboration of
Paola Mira (mathematics and science teacher at the middle school of
Casorate Primo, Italy), Silvia Sbaragli (SUPSI), Luca Crivelli (SUPSI)
and Fabio Meliciani (creator of this website).
